The funeral home where I cut my teeth was big in the local Hindu community.  Mostly from Guyana (a former British colony in South America), members of the local Hindu community prefer a funeral home that understands their culture and respects their specific religious rituals.

The best way to expand your funeral business into new communities and religious customs is to research the burial practices, attend a few services and speak with the community leaders.

My previous employer made his initial foray into Hindu funerals by advertising on a Hindu radio program and attending local community events.
