I’ve just finished speaking with Lorie and Tom Beshara of Turn Your Head, makers of the Pirolettes.
They’ve agreed to offer a sizable discount to funeral homes. If you choose to offer Pirolettes to your clients, you’d need to take the photograph of the deceased according to the instructions and send the info to Tom and Lorie.
This is a great product that would add a great dimension to your offerings.

I really like this product! I think I might get a couple for Holiday gifts this year of my kids.
I do have a question…how many people really portion out cremains?
When my brother was cremated, I could not bring myself to even open the container, let alone take a portion out and separate it from the rest.
If I could turn back time, however, I would have loved a pirolette of him.

Actually, in states like Florida, where cremation is more popular than burial, portioning the remains is becoming commonplace. The funeral home will usually handle the separation part.
I once served the family of a flight attendant named Carol Barnes. Her mother wanted me to place some of the cremated remains in an urn and separate the remainder into smaller portions.
Later, when Carol’s friends came to visit her mother, Mrs. Barnes asked them to carry the remains to all the places Carol loved (Rome, Paris, etc.) and scatter them in a quiet place. In this way, Carol’s remains went back to the places where she was happiest.
I still speak to Mrs. Barnes on a regular basis. She’s one of those clients who doesn’t disappear so readily.
