Yesterday I shared that we’ll be holding the First Annual Final Embrace Weblog Contributors Forum at the NFDA Convention in Las Vegas.

Since so many of our contributors are either exhibitors at the convention or will be attending as funeral professionals, we decided to hold it Monday, October 8 at 6:00 pm.

The exhibit hall shuts down at 5:30 pm that day, so exhibitors and guests will have time to walk over to conference room #1 (out the doors, across the short bridge to the Hilton) in time for the meeting.

And since many attendees have other plans for the evenings after convention hours, we’re limiting the formal presentation to just 30 minutes.  After that, we’ll break into a smaller discussion group for those who want to participate, while the others are welcome to have private conversations or move on to an early dinner or show.

This year’s presentation will focus on cross-promotion and co-marketing opportunities.  Many of our guests sell products or services to the funeral industry and are looking for more effective ways to reach the same relatively-small audience.

But we’re also looking for input from funeral professionals and others in the field.  We need to know what kind of information you need when deciding which companies to use and how we can most effectively reach out to you with product offerings and new alternatives.

Are you attending the NFDA Convention?  Want to participate in this exciting exchange?  Drop me an email at finalembraceonline@gmail.com so we can add your name to our growing list.

See ya in Vegas!
