One of the first articles I wrote for the trade magazines is titled Ten Ways to be Seen as a Community Contributor.

For various reasons, it was never picked up by any of the trades.  And while others were printed (including My Best Friend’s Funeral, What the Consumer Doesn’t Know CAN Hurt You and Thou Shalt Not Use This Firm), this one has always been a favorite of mine because it addresses the simple things you can do to make a name for yourself within the community.

So I’ve decided to split up these ten suggestions and offer one a day through next week.
