I’ve often cautioned funeral directors that a funeral home has to look like one if it’s going to be an effective marketing tool.  This means that modern-looking buildings or church-looking buildings need decorations, vehilces or other “markers” that tell passers-by that the structure houses a funeral home.

This example is extreme, but I think we can all tell what public building in Kansas City erected this parking garage:
